Entrepreneurship Workshop on Asia and Africa 2025
The university’s DUCR, together with UTokyo IPC, is organizing workshops for students interested in entrepreneurship in emerging markets.
The lecturers for these workshops will be alumni of UTokyo who are currently active as venture capitalists in Nigeria and India. Participants will undertake a simulated experience of venture capital investment in emerging markets through a case study approach. On the second day, the entrepreneur from Nigeria featured in the case study will deliver a presentation, sharing insights into prior fundraising activities and related experiences. The discussion that follows will deepen the groupwork of the previous day.
If you are interested in startups in the emerging markets, in supporting or investing in such ventures, or in understanding the role of venture capitalists, this program will be a valuable opportunity to learn from the experts.
